Service Manager – Refrigeration – Portsmouth Location: Portsmouth Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join a leading industrial refrigeration contractor, managing a well-established service division across the South Coast This is a key leadership role, responsible for team management engineers and a supervisor, full P&L accountability for a growing branch, and maintaining strong client relationships across critical sectors such as food, beverage, and pharmaceutical. The Role: * Oversee day-to-day service operations across the region South Coast/ South East. * Manage and support a team of service engineers, including scheduling, performance, and development * Full responsibility for profit and loss, budgeting, and KPI tracking * Build and maintain excellent relationships with key accounts, ensuring service excellence and contract delivery * Act as the main point of contact for escalations and technical support where needed Background: * Proven experience in the industrial or commercial refrigeration, chillers/ HVACR sector, ideally with leadership or management exposure * Strong understanding of service operations and commercial delivery (P&L, KPIs, budgeting) * Effective team leadership and communication skills * Customer-focused approach with a track record in account management * F-Gas certification and knowledge of ammonia systems highly desirable Package: * £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary * Company car or car allowance * Bonus scheme * 26 days holiday + 8 bank holidays * Private medical cover * Company pension * Clear career progression and development pathway
