Project Manager required to work with a specialist manufacturer and contractor within industrial refrigeration, process cooling/heating or ammonia based refrigeration systems. We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional who can hit the ground running, deliver and take ownership of multiple high-value projects from £500K to £3M across food & beverage processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical environments from handover to commissioning.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of projects from handover to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to specification.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and regular progress updates.
- Maintaining a strong site presence to monitor progress, resolve technical or coordination issues, and ensure project compliance.
- Managing project documentation, compliance, and QA to reduce risks and ensure smooth handover to the client.
- Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
You should have:
- Proven experience delivering industrial refrigeration or process cooling projects (experience with ammonia or other natural refrigerants is a strong advantage).
- A solid understanding of compliance, documentation, and safety requirements for industrial refrigeration systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills – able to work closely with clients, suppliers, and site teams.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and make sound project decisions.
