Proposals Engineer required with a leading refrigeration engineering company to support the delivery of major industrial refrigeration projects across the UK and internationally. This position would suit someone with an engineering background, strong organisational skills and an interest in developing both technical and commercial expertise.
The Role
You'll support the sales team by preparing quotations, tenders and technical proposals for large-scale refrigeration projects. Working alongside experienced Sales Engineers, you'll gain exposure to the commercial side of engineering projects while developing a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and applications.
Duties will include:
- Preparing quotations and tender submissions
- Producing cost estimates and supporting documentation
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Managing enquiry information through internal systems
- Supporting project planning and proposal development
- Assisting with technical and commercial evaluations
The Person
We're looking for someone who has:
- A technical or engineering background across a heating or cooling discipline
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Project Engineer or Applications Engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills
