A leading provider of industrial refrigeration solutions is seeking a Working Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality service to key customers across the South West. Working with a well-established and experienced team, you will support a medium-sized team of Industrial Refrigeration Engineers, ensuring service delivery across a portfolio of long-standing food, beverage, and process industry clients. This role offers a clear pathway into a fully-fledged Service Supervisor position, making it an ideal opportunity for a senior engineer or working supervisor looking to step into a more operational and leadership-focused role.
The Role
You will play a key role in servicing systems, supporting engineers, and ensuring contracts are delivered in line with customer expectations in addition to quoting, surveys, overseeing SLAs, and compliance requirements on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate a team of Refrigeration Engineers across the region ranging from heavy commercial, chillers to industrial works.
- Ensure service contracts are delivered in line with SLAs and client expectations.
- Review and manage RAMS, ensuring all work is carried out safely and compliantly.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, building strong working relationships.
- Support planning and scheduling of service and maintenance activities.
- Ensure engineers are fully equipped with the necessary tools, parts, and information.
- Monitor job progress and resolve any operational issues as they arise.
- Attend client meetings and site visits where required.
About You
- Experience within industrial refrigeration or process chiller service environments.
- Currently working as a Service Supervisor, Working Supervisor, or Senior Engineer looking to step off the tools.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Able to support and motivate a team of engineers.
