A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly regarded surveying company known for delivering accurate and reliable surveying solutions across a wide range of construction and infrastructure projects. The company prides itself on maintaining high technical standards, utilising the latest drainage inspection technology and digital reporting systems to provide precise and reliable survey data. Operating across multiple sectors throughout the UK, the company continues to grow and is now looking to strengthen its drainage division by bringing on a CCTV Drainage Surveyor based out of their Welwyn (Hertfordshire) office.
This permanent position will involve working closely with experienced surveyors and project managers, carrying out CCTV drainage inspections across a variety of projects, analysing drainage conditions, identifying defects, and producing clear survey reports using industry-standard CCTV reporting software.
Responsibility & Duties- Carry out CCTV drainage surveys to inspect and assess drainage systems
- Operate CCTV survey equipment and record findings using WinCan or reporting software.
- Analyse survey data and produce clear reports identifying defects and recommending remedial works.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures, including confined space entry and safe equipment use.
- 5–7 years’ experience within the drainage industry.
- 2–3 years’ CCTV surveying experience, ideally certified to OS19X MSCC5.
- Experience in identifying drainage defects and recommending remedial works, including excavation, lining and HPWJ.
- Full clean driving licence with the flexibility to stay away when required at short notice.
- Knowledge of WinCan or similar CCTV reporting software.
- Ability to interpret survey data and produce detailed reports with remedial recommendations.
- Trained in HPWJ, Confined Space Entry and the safe use of associated plant and equipment.
