As Land & Setting Out Surveyor, you'll work closely with the wider survey and engineering teams, reporting to the Survey Manager, delivering topographical and engineering surveys alongside setting out duties across a range of construction projects. This role offers genuine variety for a Land & Setting Out Surveyor keen to develop broader technical skills. You will ideally be based in the Warwickshire area.
Responsibility & Duties
- Carry out topographical and engineering surveys across construction sites
- Deliver accurate setting out on live construction projects
- Produce precise survey drawings using AutoCAD
- Operate Total Stations and GPS equipment on site
- Support measured building and monitoring surveys as required
- Liaise with site teams to ensure accurate data capture
- Manage own workload and prioritise site visits independently
Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in land surveying essential
- Proven setting out experience on construction projects required
- Skilled in preparing accurate topographical survey drawings
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency for survey drawing production
- Experience using Total Stations for site surveying
- Monitoring and measured building survey knowledge advantageous
- LSS software and GPS surveying experience desirable
- Able to work independently and manage own workload
