A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients, who is a multi-award-winning building services contractor that specialises in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. They also offer turnkey design, build & operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions, and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout the UK & Europe.
Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Revit MEP Coordinator in their Belfast office. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing BIM models and drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they accurately reflect project specifications and standards. They will work closely with multiple teams, including BIM, pre-construction, design, offsite fabrication, and onsite operations, to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems into the overall project design. This project will involve leading a department and driving the digital delivery forward.
Responsibility & Duties
- Ensure MEP models and drawings align with design criteria, standards, and projects.
- Oversee quality control, conduct compliance checks, and implement best practices in MEP modelling as the Revit MEP Coordinator.
- Identify risks, manage design changes, and track project timelines to meet deadlines.
- Resolve model clashes using tools like Navisworks and coordinate across disciplines.
- Work with suppliers, communicate with stakeholders, and act as the point of contact for offsite and onsite teams as the Revit MEP Coordinator.
- Train junior team members and update procedures to stay aligned with advancements.
Experience & Qualification
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, building services M&E background.
- Navisworks Manage for clash detection, model federation, and coordination reviews.
- Proven ability to interpret MEP schematics, layouts, and fabrication drawings.
- Experienced working on large-scale projects in the MEP sector.
- Excellent communication and team player as the Revit MEP Coordinator.
