This company has built a strong reputation for delivering precise topographical, measured building, utility, and bathymetric surveys to clients across the UK and Europe. Utilising the latest 3D laser scanning technology and BIM workflows, they support projects spanning construction, infrastructure, and specialist engineering sectors, consistently praised for their accuracy, reliability, and impeccably presented deliverables. With a growing pipeline of work and a close-knit, highly skilled team, they are now seeking a motivated Junior Land Surveyor to join them.
Due to continued expansion and a large project load, they are now searching for a Junior Land Surveyor to join their team. You will be working closely with senior surveyors, CAD technicians, and project managers, gaining hands-on exposure to a variety of survey disciplines. The role will support the accurate collection, processing, and delivery of survey data across a range of site-based and office-based projects.
Responsibility & Duties
- Assist with topographical, measured building, and utility surveys on site
- Support the use of GPS, total stations, and 3D laser scanners
- Assist with post-processing and registration of survey and point cloud data
- Produce accurate survey drawings and deliverables as a Junior Land Surveyor
- Liaise with senior surveyors and project managers on daily site tasks
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and site conduct
- Travel to sites across the South West and wider UK
Experience & Qualification
- Degree or equivalent qualification in surveying or a related discipline
- Some experience or placement exposure to land surveying advantageous
- Working knowledge of GPS, Total Stations, and laser scanning equipment
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data recording skills
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and comfortable working outdoors
- Full UK driving licence required
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
