A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of our long-standing clients, a highly respected company within the land and engineering surveying industry. They provide a competitive and professional surveying service, with an emphasis on precision, quality, and consistent delivery to tight project schedules. Their survey teams utilise the latest surveying equipment and software to efficiently collect, process, and issue survey data in AutoCAD and all other major formats, supplied digitally or as hard copies. Operating across the UK and Europe, the company continues to grow and is now looking to expand its Office CAD team based in Greater Manchester.
Responsibility & Duties
- Assist in the production of the final AutoCAD drawing files produced from undertaking surveys on site by the Surveyors.
- Working on topographical surveys, measured building surveys AutoCAD Drawings as the CAD Technician.
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on project requirements.
- Review and modify existing drawings as necessary.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and meet industry standards.
Experience & Qualification
- 3+ Years' experience using Autodesk AutoCAD for the production of a variety of survey deliverables.
- Knowledge of N4CE processing software would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the survey industry, including various land & utility surveying processes.
- High quality and discipline with all surveying methods, data management and deliverables.
- Ability to use your initiative, problem solve and work to deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
