Are you an experienced Solicitor with a passion for Contentious Probate law? Do you thrive on resolving complex disputes? TSR Legal are currently supporting an award-winning boutique law firm based in Bristol, who are currently looking to recruit a Contentious Probate Solicitor.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled contentious probate solicitor to handle a diverse caseload of disputes relating to wills, trusts, and estates. Working closely with clients, you'll provide expert legal advice and pragmatic solutions to help them navigate emotionally charged situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including disputes over the validity of wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, executor disputes, and trust disputes.
  • Advising clients on legal strategies and potential outcomes, balancing technical expertise with a sensitive approach.
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings where necessary.
  • Drafting clear, concise legal documents and correspondence.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing exceptional client care throughout the process.
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in contentious probate law and contributing to the team's knowledge base.

About You

  • A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with proven experience in contentious probate.
  • A strong understanding of the legal principles surrounding wills, trusts, and estate disputes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations tactfully.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve positive outcomes.
