6-month contract to support the finance team through a busy period.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in helping bring reporting back up to date following a recent departure within the team.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to make an immediate impact, with the potential for the position to become permanent.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include

  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Posting journals and month-end adjustments
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end and year-end processes
  • Working through a backlog of financial reporting and finance projects
  • Assisting with process improvements where appropriate
  • Providing general accounting support to a small, collaborative finance team

About You

We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have

  • Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
  • Manufacturing sector experience (essential)
  • Strong month-end accounting experience, including journals and reconciliations
  • The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Either

  • Part/Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), or
  • Qualified by experience (QBE)
