We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, andoffer an experienced Trading Manager the opportunity to work with a successful supplier of Fresh Produce in the South East.

The position of Trading Manager will work closely with a key retail account and take responsibility for a specific product category; interfacing with UK and overseas Growers to ensure;

Timely orders and packaging of product

Liaising with customer Buyers to ensure forecasts & orders are accurate

Keep up to date with promotional & demand planning

Provide information / reports on product performance, sales and market share on a regular basis.

This Trading Manager role will manage the weekly programs and ensure product availability, with promotions and offers taken into consideration. With a key focus on account performance & growth, the successful individual will be confident with the ability to build and develop retail accounts, with a well-managed small team to assist the successful individual.

Requirements;

Experienced Senior Trading individual from the Fresh Produce sector is a highly essential requirement.

Proven success in a similar role previously

Detailed knowledge of the Fresh Produce industry

Thorough understanding of Supply Chain and overseas Growers

Encouraging Management style

High level of communication, negotiation and leadership skills
