The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Senior Trading Manager, this Trader role will work closely with the Senior Trading Manager to support and ensure the effective daily trading of Fresh Produce to Wholesale and Foodservice customers in the UK. This opportunity will trade fresh produce products across an impressive portfolio of fruit and salad products, focusing on wholesale customers.

With great scope for customer portfolio management, development, and expansion, the successful individual will gain new accounts and continue to develop and grow established accounts. The position will negotiate pricing/tenders, manage customer expectations, and work closely with internal teams to promote and strengthen the company’s market position.

We require:

  • Experience within Fresh Produce trading within wholesale and foodservice markets, preferably Salads and/or Fruit products.
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident, professional, and commercial approach.
  • Driven, passionate, and able to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial management success, with motivation to succeed.
  • Excellent relationship-building ability.

This position will work within the highly motivated commercial and procurement team in the office Monday – Friday, with trading hours required on a Saturday morning to gain the most effective and competitive position within the market.

Location: Kent

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Monday to Friday 6/7am – finish, weekends on call on a rota basis.
