A fantastic technical opportunity has become available with a successful Fresh Produce specialist, working as Technical Compliance Coordinator within an energetic and passionate technical team.
The position of Technical Compliance Coordinator will deputise and assist the Supplier Compliance Manager in matters appertaining to product safety, quality and legality and assist other technical team members and areas as required. You will ensure knowledge of customer and regulatory requirements for responsible sourcing (food safety, ethical, environmental, and auditing) and customer policies and conveyed.
Responsibilities include;
- Proactively manage and maintain the company’s supplier due diligence (DD), including regularly updating and sharing the category-approved supplier lists.
- Proactively manage the integrity of the suppliers and customers approval systems/database, including external and internal portals
- Take accountability for closing off non-conformances for audits/ visits, both overseas and in the UK, including reviewing and approving all non-conformances on customer-based web portals
- Manage the company’s supplier risk assessments to include pesticide, micro, ethical, and VACCP/TACCP
- Adhere to the compliance Due Diligence process, communicating approval status at each stage
We require;
Exposure to and / or experience gained in Technical Compliance / Due Diligence / Pesticides would be beneficial
Experience within the Fresh Produce and / or Food sectors would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality systems
Confident IT ability, with a focus on Excel, and Prophet knowledge proving beneficial
Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of administration ability
Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility as required
Salary; Dependent on experience offered
Location; West Midlands / Warwickshire
