Technical Assistant – Fresh produce

Our Client is an established & successful supplier of Fresh Produce, supplying to an exciting customer base across retail sector. We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join the technical team as Technical Assistant.

Reporting to and working alongside the Senior Technical Manager, the position of Technical Assistant offers the opportunity to assist with the implementation of company Food Safety, Quality Management and Supplier Approval systems, Health & Safety policies, internal Audits to BRC standard, Product Specifications and liaising with colleagues in preparation for external Audits.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading supplier of Fresh produce products, working across all departments and gaining exposure to both suppliers and customers.

• Experience gained in a Technical Assistant / Administration/ Quality position, with the ability to assist with: QMS, Auditing, BRC, HACCP, Food Safety
• Fresh Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure would be ideal
• Confident with quality / technical systems & procedures, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Attractive Salary; up to £35k + bonus and excellent benefits
