We currently offer an exciting opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, becoming a key member of the Quality & Technical team as QC / Quality Controller. The position of QC / Quality Controller will be instrumental in assisting the QC team with day-to-day activities, focusing on quality control inspections of product, packaging, and labelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product quality inspection
- Work to & achieve daily team & business KPI’s
- Maintain a high level of Hygiene and Health & Safety
- Ensure all product packaging & labelling meets expected standards
- Collect samples and assist in resolving any issues or defects in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance role
- Fresh Produce knowledge advantageous, ideally Fruit
- Good attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- A driving licence is essential due to the location of our client
Location: Marden, Kent
Salary: £13.23 after training / Paid hourly + Overtime after 48 hours
Day Shift: 7.00am to 19.00pm 4 days on 3 days off
