Overview

Our Client is one of the UK’s largest Importers and Distributors in their sector within the fresh produce industry, supplying a variety of customers nationwide, including the major retailers. We now offer an excellent opportunity for a QA Support to join the business in a key Quality Assurance / Quality Control role on an interim basis until March/April 2026.

Working alongside a QA Manager, the position of QA Support will join a dedicated team to assess and monitor the quality of incoming fresh produce during production and packed products.

Responsibilities

  • To complete Intake quality assessments when required and send daily reports to suppliers.
  • Monitor product during packing process (checking quality, approvals, labelling, packaging and other specific requirement and specifications) and liaising with production teams throughout.
  • To carry out sample preparation process and assist Technical team when required.
  • Calibrate measuring equipment.
  • Completion of shelf life assessment

Requirements

  • FMCG / Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure
  • Experience / knowledge of product Quality Control / Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of Auditing, HACCP, Specifications, and the importance of meeting the customer’s needs would be highly advantageous

Location & Hours

Location: Harlow, Essex

Hours: Sunday to Thursday working week.

Salary

Salary; dependent on experience

A driving licence is essential
