Opportunity: Lead Fresh Produce Procurement Strategy We are recruiting a Procurement Manager/Buyer to join a successful Fresh Produce specialist.

This is a pivotal role demanding commercial acumen and technical expertise, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of designated product categories and drive company financial targets.

This position is ideal for a confident, high‑performing procurement specialist ready to manage key categories and negotiate at the top level.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with a counterpart, focusing on maximizing value and ensuring stability across a complex fresh produce supply chain:

  • Category Ownership: Full accountability for the procurement of Fresh Produce across key Fruit categories, mainly Stone Fruit.
  • Negotiation & KPIs: Lead complex price negotiations and manage supplier performance to meet challenging financial KPI’s.
  • Stock Management: Strategic planning and management of stock to guarantee volume and minimize waste across the supply chain.
  • Quality & Supplier Relations: Manage successful, positive supplier relationships while ensuring all product quality standards are strictly achieved.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analysis to inform buying strategies and market positioning.
