We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying retail customers with fresh high-quality produce. We currently offer the position of Interim QA Manager taking responsibility for the effective management of the QA team, with product quality at the forefront.
The position of Interim QA Manager will report directly to the head of the department and become a crucial part of the successful supply of product to key retail customers. Team management, motivation, and encouragement is imperative to achieve the success required to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities include;
Manage QA staff to ensure adequate provision at all times
Work closely with suppliers and commercial colleagues to communicate product arrival and quality information
Liaise daily with production colleagues to ensure operating packing procedures are being followed, with fully trained staff
Ensure all fresh produce product is quality checked, corrective actions taken when necessary, allocated to the appropriate customer and documentation compliance
Success in this position relies heavily on the ability to communicate at all levels and hold a passion for the high level of product quality expected when supplying to key customers.
We require;
Experience gained within a similar management position, offering a positive and supportive management style
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Exposure to the Food and / or Fresh Produce sectors is essential
Confident in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
Ability to work to deadlines and make decisions under pressure
Hours; Monday – Friday, with some flexibility required
Location; Aberdeenshire, Scotland
