Supplying an exciting portfolio of Fresh Produce products to the UK retail market, our Client is looking to strengthen their customer facing technical team and offer a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Technical Manager / Technologist to take ownership of key retail customers, and build strong relationships across all aspects of the supply chain. The position will allow the successful individual to work with a passionate customer focused technical team, taking ownership of and working closely with significant retail customers. Working as part of the highly driven team, there will be exposure to an exciting variety of product categories and the opportunity to further develop highly invaluable technical and customer management experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve specific targets and KPI’s on technical issues and ensure customers are satisfied at all times.
  • Retail customer management to ensure product satisfaction, compliance, and continuous successful relationship growth.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to retail customers and/or the supply of product to retail customers, with expectations understood.
  • Previous experience within a customer focused technical position, with a confident ability is beneficial.
  • High level of communication skills, with a passionate and professional approach.
  • Experience gained within the Fresh Produce sector.
  • Graduates with a couple of years in a similar Technical role are welcome to apply.

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £35-40k, dependent on experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, with some flexibility required.
