High quality destination restaurant needing high calibre GM – immediate start London City 50 to 60K. We are looking for an outstanding, driven, experienced Restaurant General Manager for this state‑of‑the‑art restaurant soon to have its own celebrity chef in the city of London. The current turnover of the restaurant is over 2 million and there is a permanent team of 30 – we are looking for a high‑calibre General Manager who has come from a credible restaurant background, knows what great looks like, and has real presence and is incredibly front‑facing.
This restaurant needs a real leader and someone who can turn over the food operation that has recently been neglected and now really needs someone to take ownership and be the driving force behind it and the team. It can see up to 300 covers over the lunchtime period, which is the main part of the business; it is slow in the evenings and on weekends. Heavily driven by tourists, it is next to one of London’s most famous landmarks with a huge tourist attraction. The space can also be turned and used as an events space, hence why events would be beneficial.
