The Job
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our night shift team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse, ensuring all loading, unloading, and stock movement activities are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles in line with company procedures.
- Move stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
- Conduct daily pre-use checks on forklift equipment and report any defects.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely within designated areas.
- Assist with stock control and inventory checks when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete relevant paperwork and scanning duties accurately.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
Hours: Sunday Midnight (00:00) to Friday Morning 09:00 Shift Pattern: Sunday night to Thursday night, 12:00am – 9:00am (45 hours per week)
