We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Scheduler to coordinate and support a team of service engineers operating across the North West region. This is a key role within our operations team, ensuring efficient deployment of engineers to meet customer demands while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate the daily activities of service engineers across the North West area.
- Manage incoming service requests, prioritising tasks based on urgency, location, and resource availability.
- Act as the main point of contact between engineers and clients, ensuring smooth communication and updates on service times.
- Optimise routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Monitor and track job progress, ensuring timely completion and adherence to SLAs.
- Handle reactive and planned maintenance bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of job details, engineer availability, and customer communications.
- Provide support in managing emergencies or last-minute changes to the schedule.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar scheduler, coordinator, or dispatch role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and dynamic workload.
- Excellent prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a service or engineering environment preferred.
