We are currently partnering with a well-established residential childcare provider to recruit Residential Team Leaders for several homes in and around Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and child-focused environment.
About the Role
As a Residential Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home, leading shifts, and ensuring high standards of care for children and young people. You will act as a role model for staff, promote positive outcomes, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Details
- Shifts: 2 on, 4 off or 1 on, 2 off
- Shifts: Long shifts including sleep-ins (average 58 per month)
- Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the home
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential childcare (essential)
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and guide a team
