Registered Manager Children's Residential Home
Location: Littleover, Derby
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + performance-related bonuses
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed children's residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) in Derby.

The home is currently rated Good by Ofsted, and our client is seeking a dedicated manager who can continue to drive quality, compliance, and positive outcomes.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times.
You will lead and develop the staff team, promote a positive and nurturing culture, and work closely with external professionals, families, and local authorities to ensure children receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the home in line with Children's Homes Regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children and young people within the service.
- Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing staff team.
- Maintain full compliance with safeguarding requirements, Ofsted regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and placement plans.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, families, education providers, and external agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving and maintaining a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.
Requirements
- Previous experience within children's residential care. xgikmsk
