Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, plus one weekend day per month (day off in lieu) and participation in an on-call rota.

Contract: Full Time | Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of an established children's care provider for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the launch of their brand-new Ofsted-registered children's home in Crawley. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring children receive outstanding care in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Registered Manager with the daily operation of the home.
  • Lead, supervise and develop the residential care team.
  • Oversee care plans, risk assessments and children's records.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
  • Support staff recruitment, induction, supervision and training.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and help maintain high standards across the service.
