An established and growing childrens care provider is looking for a Senior Residential Childrens Support Worker to join their expanding team. Based in Wrexham, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation that places strong emphasis on staff development, training and career progression. You will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential setting, helping to create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where they can develop, grow and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality care and emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
  • Support daily routines, activities and personal development
  • Promote a safe and nurturing environment at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support care plans
  • Complete accurate records and reports in line with regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Experience in residential childrens care or a similar setting
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or similar
  • Ability to work long shifts and sleep-ins as part of the rota
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people
