A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Senior Support Worker to join a well-established supported living team in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, career progression, and the chance to make a real difference.
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge. You will lead by example, champion independence, and ensure personalised outcomes are met for the individuals supported.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to service users
- Supervise and lead a dedicated support team
- Conduct regular supervisions and team meetings
- Ensure effective communication between services and management
- Promote compliance with all relevant standards and policies
- Actively contribute to service development and improvement
- Must hold or be working towards a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care
- Proven experience in a care or support setting, ideally within supported living
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full-time, 40+ hours per week
- Flexible shifts between 7am-10pm, following a 2-week rolling rota
- Alternate weekends off
- Starting rate of £13.25 per hour, rising to £13.55 after probation
- £1.00 per hour weekend enhancement
