The RoleOur client is seeking Residential Childrens Support Workers and Qualified Support Workers to join their dedicated teams. Successful candidates will support children in a residential setting, helping them to feel safe, valued, and supported in their development.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young peoplePromote positive behaviour and build strong, trusting relationshipsSupport daily routines, education, and personal developmentWork collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a safe environmentFollow care plans and safeguarding proceduresWorking Hours40 hours per week , on a rota basis including: Early shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pmLate shifts: 3:00pm to 9:00pmLong days: 8:00am to 8:00pmLong day + sleep: 8:00am to 11:00pm + sleep-inSalary & BenefitsSupport Worker: £33,835.20 per year (including approx. 8 sleep-ins per month)Qualified Support Worker: £34,833.60 per year (including approx. 8 sleep-ins per month)Full-time, permanent positionOpportunity to increase earnings through additional sleep-insOngoing training and developmentSupportive, close-knit working environmentRequirementsExperience working with children or young people (transferable experience will be considered)A genuine passion for supporting young peopleAbility to work shifts, including sleep-insStrong communication and teamwork skillsLevel 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or equivalent (for Qualified Support Worker roles)Apply NowThis is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable provider and build a rewarding career in residential childcare.
