Salary: Β£35,800 – Β£36,300 per year

About the Role

Our client is seeking Residential Childcare Practitioners to join their dedicated team in children\’s residential homes in Walsall.

You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience in children\’s residential care or transferable skills
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children\’s Residential/Childrens Workforce OR Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential) or working towards this qualification
  • A full UK driving licence (essential) youll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc
  • Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people

Shift Pattern

  • Long shifts plus sleep ins
  • Rolling 3-week rota, averaging 10 shifts per month
