Residential Childcare Practitioner/Senior Location: Derby Salary: Β£37,270- Β£38,600 per year About the Role Our client is seeking Residential Childcare Practitioners and Seniors to join their dedicated team in children's residential homes in Derby. You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. What Were Looking For Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care Level 3 Childrens Workforce qualification NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner (Residential) or working towards this qualification These qualifications are preferred rather than essential, and we welcome strong applicants who can demonstrate relevant experience, transferable skills, and a genuine commitment to working with children and young people A full UK driving licence (essential) youll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people Shift Pattern Long shifts plus sleep ins (which means less working days per week) Rolling 3-week rota Averaging 10 shifts per month Whats on Offer?
