Residential Childrens Support Worker and Senior Support Worker
Location: Wallasey (CH44 and CH45)
Salary: £34,300 to £39,200 including sleep-ins, depending on experience and qualifications
Rota: 2 days on / 4 days off (including sleep-ins)
An established and growing childrens care provider in the Liverpool area is looking for an experienced Residential Childrens Support Worker to join their expanding team. Based in Wallasey, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation that places strong emphasis on staff development, training and career progression.
You will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential setting, helping to create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where they can develop, grow and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Provide high quality care and emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting
Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
Support daily routines, activities and personal development
Promote a safe and nurturing environment at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support care plans
Complete accurate records and reports in line with regulatory standards

Requirements Experience in residential childrens care or a similar setting is essential
Full UK driving licence is essential
Level 3 qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or similar is beneficial
Ability to work long shifts and sleep-ins as part of the rota
