Hours: Full Time, Permanent 40 hours per week Includes one shift and one sleep-in per week.
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Home Manager to lead one of their Supported Accommodation services in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be based at either the Prescot (L34) or Orrell Park (L9) service. The final location will be decided following interview, therefore applicants must be able to travel to both locations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about supporting young people aged 16+ to develop the skills and confidence they need to live independently. You'll lead a dedicated team, maintain high standards of care and compliance, and ensure positive outcomes for the young people you support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day management of the supported accommodation service.
- Lead, supervise and develop a team of support staff.
- Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements and company policies.
- Promote a safe, supportive and person-centred environment for young people.
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments and case management.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities, commissioners and other professionals.
- Manage rotas, staffing and operational performance.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and administrative systems.
- Participate in the out-of-hours management on-call rota.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience managing a Supported Accommodation or Children's Residential service.
- Experience leading, supervising and developing staff.
- A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation.
- Experience working with young people aged 16+.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with external professionals and agencies.
- A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification is desirable. Candidates holding this qualification will receive the higher salary.
