Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, plus one weekend day per month (day off in lieu) and participation in an on-call rota.

We are recruiting on behalf of an established children's care provider for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the launch of their brand-new Ofsted-registered children's home in Crawley. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring children receive outstanding care in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager with the daily operation of the home.
- Lead, supervise and develop the residential care team.
- Oversee care plans, risk assessments and children's records.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Support staff recruitment, induction, supervision and training.
- Participate in the on-call rota and help maintain high standards across the service.
About You
To be considered, you'll have:
- Experience working within an Ofsted-registered children's home.
- Previous leadership experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager.
- A Level 4 or 5 qualification in Health.
