An established and growing children's care provider in the Liverpool area is looking for an experienced Residential Children's Support Worker to join their expanding team. Based across homes in Bootle and Wavertree, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation that places strong emphasis on staff development, training and career progression.
You will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential setting, helping to create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where they can develop, grow and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high quality care and emotional support to children and young people in a residential setting
- Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Support daily routines, activities and personal development
- Promote a safe and nurturing environment at all times
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to support care plans
- Complete accurate records and reports in line with regulatory standards
- Competitive salary between £34,300 and £39,200 including sleep-ins
- 2 on / 4 off rota, supporting work life balance
- Strong focus on training, development and career progression
- Opportunity to join a well established and expanding care provider
- Experience in residential children's care or a similar setting is essential
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or similar is beneficial
- Ability to work long shifts and sleep-ins as part of the rota
