Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and presentable for children and staff alike. You would be responsible for ordering cleaning materials, locking up the school and setting the alarm and feeding any comments back to our off site operations team. Working hours are 4.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Monday to Friday during Term Time Only
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Respond to any urgent cleaning requests as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated time frames.
- A proactive approach to identifying areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
