Are you a passionate travel professional ready to take control of your career? Tailor-Made Travel is looking for experienced, specialist travel agents to join our growing UK based business. This is a genuine self-employed opportunity with the freedom to work on your own terms, under your own brand (in conjunction with ours), while benefiting from the full support, supplier network and commercial clout of an established agency.

The Role

You will operate as an independent travel specialist, managing your own client base and delivering exceptional, personalised travel experiences in one or more of our key specialist areas. Hours are flexible and structured around your lifestyle — but you must be available and contactable during standard business hours. This role is best suited to full-time candidates, though we will consider part-time arrangements for the right person.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 12 months' experience working in the travel industry
  • Specialisation in one or more of: Luxury, Cruise, Sports, Golf, Winter Sport, Group Travel or Multi-Centre itineraries
  • Self-motivated, professional and committed to delivering outstanding client service
  • Existing client base or the ability to self-generate new business
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal

Equipment Requirements

As a homeworker, you will need to provide your own:

  • Laptop or desktop computer
  • Mobile phone
  • Reliable internet connection

  • Commission split: Minimum 80/20 in your favour (minus booking fees), increasing with sales volume

Terms & Conditions of Engagement

  • Working arrangement: Self-employed — outside IR35. You are responsible for your own tax returns and National Insurance contributions.
  • Location: Must be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Payment: Commission paid in the month after trip balance paid
  • Branding: You may trade under your own brand name in conjunction with the Tailor-Made Travel brand.
