Our Client is one of the World's leading fruit breeders and suppliers working across the UK & Europe. An excellent opportunity has become available for an individual seeking a career within Agronomy, gaining knowledge & training from an established and very successful business.
The position will take responsibility for:
- Field trials & demonstrations in the West Midlands area
- Collection & analysis of data and to prepare crop inspection reports
- Liaising with growers in the West Midlands on a regular basis to ensure product meets standards, issues are addressed & resolved and key relationships with Growers remain strong & progressive.
We are seeking:
- Graduate with a relevant qualification in Agriculture
- An understanding and awareness of Agronomy in a Field based role would be beneficial
- Hands-on approach and a passion for Agriculture and Farming
- A full driving licence is essential along with a meticulous approach and excellent organisational and communication skills.
The company operates a results-based annual bonus scheme. A Car and Mobile Phone is provided. In addition, there is the opportunity to develop and gain a BASIS and FACTS qualification. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a successful business and begin a career within the Agricultural / Fresh Produce sector.
Location: 70% in the West Midlands area / 30% in the Kent area
Salary: Up to 35k + car
