A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Produce Grower, Importer and Supplier to key retail customers. We currently offer an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time of growth as Technical Manager, with customer focus.
The role of Technical Manager will report to the Head of Technical and will work across the supply of Fresh Produce products to specific retail customers. The role will be responsible for:
- Technical management of key retail customers
- Management of the technical aspects of the product development plan to include timely, accurate and successful product launches
- Clear interpretation, communication and implementation of customers’ policies on technical, ethical, social and environmental matters
We require:
- Fresh Produce experienced Technical individual
- Confidence to manage suppliers overseas, as and when necessary
- Previous management of retail customers, with the ability to build and maintain key relationships
- Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, dealing with product specifications and quality standards expected by the retail customers
The salary available is flexible, and would suit an individual currently working in a technical capacity, who has been interfacing with suppliers and customers, and is now seeking a role with more responsibility, or a more experienced technical individual who is seeking a new challenge and rewarding role.
