Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available with a successful Fresh Produce specialist, in a key role as Procurement Manager. This position offers the opportunity to join a successful and driven procurement team, with a focus on designated fruit product categories, taking ownership to ensure company targets are met.\\n\\nWorking as part of an energetic and personable team, the position of Procurement Manager will report to and work alongside the Head of Procurement and become a fundamental member of the buying team.\\n\\nKey responsibilities;\\n\\nProcurement of Fresh Produce, across a variety of Fruit categories\\n\\nPlanning & management of stock, to ensure volumes are met\\n\\nLiaising with all parties to ensure product quality is achieved\\n\\nManaging successful & positive Supplier relationships\\n\\nNegotiating prices, meeting financial KPI’s\\n\\nRequirements;\\n\\nExperience gained in a Buying / Procurement position within Fresh Produce, ideally fruit\\n\\nProfessional and confident, with the ability to communicate at all levels\\n\\nAn understanding of the Fresh Produce Supply Chain\\n\\nNumerically minded and confident working with data\\n\\nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines\\n\\nExcellent knowledge of Microsoft systems\\n\\nThis role requires a passionate, organised and pro-active individual, confident in a fast-paced & demanding environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and tight timescales.\\n\\nHours; Monday – Friday\\n\\nCompetitive Salary offered + Bonus, based on personal & company performance\\n\\nLocation; Warwickshire – commutable from the West Midlands, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire\\n\\nOverseas travel will be expected with this role, approx 7 weeks a year
