We offer a fantastic opportunity on behalf of an exceptional employer within the Fresh Produce sector, working on behalf of key suppliers who provide an exciting portfolio of fresh produce categories to retail customers. The position of Label Coordinator will become a key member of the passionate and innovative team and will be responsible for printing and verifying labels ensuring accuracy against data, and ordering labels from Stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all labels are correct, printed as required and the specific details are correct to the allocated job.
  • Ensure that the correct procedure for label printing is followed to ensure that all labels are printed within specification.
  • Liaise with QC and Packhouse supervisors regarding any requirement changes.
  • Maintain accurate data on label software.
  • Ensure work is to a high standard, efficient and that any issues that arise are corrected effectively.
  • Conduct routine inspections of processes to look for improvement opportunities.

We require:

  • Proficient knowledge of fresh produce production and labelling procedures and policies.
  • Experience in a production environment, ideally Fresh Produce.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Attention to detail, organisation and communication ability to a high level.
