A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce importer, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Ripening & Quality Manager, ensuring customer expectations are met by providing ripe stock quality status, availability and projected availability to the daily production meeting.
Working closely with the Head of Quality, you will review monthly the ripening team's performance, KPIs and hold appraisals. You will recommend varietal usage for all added value lines and depot specific where appropriate.
You will manage the ripening team and provide cover to the QA team as required, taking an active involvement in decision making daily.
We require an organised and methodical approach to raw materials management and allocation.
