A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce supplier, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking Quality and Ripening Coordinators to be based at a product dedicated site to strengthen their position with customers.
Working as a key member of the fruit ripening team, the Quality and Ripening Coordinators will work closely with the Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure the smooth flow of product through the ripening process, meeting customers’ requirements and expectations.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Inspect all product arriving to site, to ensure intake expectations are met
- Professionally liaise with customers to update daily on product ripening
- Update & maintain ripening records and documentation accurately
- Pressure / Process / Protocol checks
We require:
- Experience within the Fresh produce sector
- Accurate, professional and dedicated approach
- Exposure in a Quality / Ripening focused position
- Knowledge of Fresh Produce / Fruit controls and processes
- Ripening exposure, with an understanding of product stock, allocation, release, etc.
This position is varied and demanding, with the successful individual benefiting from an excellent career with a leading business within Fresh Produce supply.
Hours: Currently on a rolling rota with weekends work required. Looking to move to 4 on / 4 off shift within the next 3 months.
Salary: Up to £32k, 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays
