About the Role
Tail Lift Services are a well-established Hydraulic Lift repair, service and installation company with 55 years of history and pedigree. We are experienced in the repair and maintenance of commercial and welfare lifts, shutters, steps, ramps and winches. We are seeking two fully trained engineers based in London or the home counties with experience in tail lifts or hydraulics / 12/24v electronics / mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out services, LOLERs, weight tests and fault finding/diagnostic repairs to a variety of lift makes and models.
- Maintenance and repair of all types of vehicle shutters.
- Be part of an on-call system (usually once per week), with some compulsory overtime required.
- Represent the company on the road and project a friendly and professional service to customers and the wider public.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience is essential as the role is for a fully trained service engineer.
- Double Deck training is preferable but not essential.
- Any manufacturer training certification (preferred but not essential).
- Loler testing – 1 year minimum (required).
- Full UK manual driving licence (required).
You will require a full UK licence.
