Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s to name a few. Responsibilities:
- Be able to work in a factory environment.
- Undertake tasks as instructed and operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instructions and guidelines, including health and safety and food handling requirements.
- Ensure that continuous factory production is maintained wherever possible.
- Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety.
- Contribute towards the smooth running of the team.
- Understanding BRC Technical Standard in their areas and making sure that they should be implemented daily.
- Have ownership of their responsibilities and make sure the members of their team clearly understand what they need to do on a daily basis.
- To try to create a positive working environment with the members of their team.
- To report daily issues including personnel to their supervisors in a timely manner.
- Making sure all staff understand and follow all procedures throughout the factory.
- Have ownership of the duties in the area that you are assigned to in any aspect of operation including machinery, personnel training, and technical requirement.
- Be able to work in a cold environment.
- Can do moving, lifting.
