Responsibilities:
- Be able to work in a factory environment.
- Be able to work from instructions to complete tasks.
- Undertake tasks as instructed and operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instructions and guidelines, including health and safety and food handling requirements.
- Use any PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) supplied as instructed.
- Generally, monitor the work and work practices being undertaken and completed and testing and checking to identify problems.
- Fix minor issues that may arise.
- Immediately notify Line Leader when issues occur that cannot be resolved by you.
- Ensure that continuous factory production is maintained wherever possible.
- Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions.
- Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements and associated systems.
- Carry out tasks within time limits.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety.
- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Leader.
- Contribute towards the smooth running of the team.
- Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls.
- Ensure all the machines are operating correctly.
- Be able to work in cold environment. Can do moving, lifting.
