As a key part of our engineering team, the Engineering Storesperson plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations. This position involves a range of administrative duties, including managing the CMS system, overseeing time and attendance for the engineering department, and handling purchasing responsibilities. Your ability to maintain organisation and efficiency will be crucial in supporting our engineering team’s daily needs.
Key responsibilities:- Administer the engineering department’s time and attendance records.
- Work with the CMS system to ensure the seamless management of the engineering store.
- Manage stock levels and purchase materials required by the engineering team.
- Ensure the store is well-organised, with proper inventory management and timely restocking.
- Coordinate the purchasing of tools, parts, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Handle all administrative tasks related to the engineering store with precision and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within an engineering or technical environment, is advantageous.
- Ability to manage inventory and purchasing duties effectively.
