We have a permanent, full-time position available as a Reactive Repairs Manager with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £48,100 per year, rising to £51,890 per year after key competencies of the role are met.
Reporting to the Operations Manager in the Property Services team, this role is responsible for delivering a responsive maintenance service, responding swiftly to requests from customers and colleagues for repairs and maintenance to properties. The post holder will drive a customer focused, high performing service through leading a large multidisciplinary team, which includes technical experts, trade and support services, and to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, including suppliers and contractors. They will apply their technical skills, health and safety knowledge, performance management and commercial awareness to continually improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and decision making, ensuring commitments are achieved.

- Lead a large multidisciplinary team of technical experts, trade and support services, and work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, including suppliers and contractors.
- Apply technical skills, health and safety knowledge, performance management and commercial awareness to continually improve service delivery and decision making.
- Ensure commitments are achieved and maintain a customer-focused, high performing service.
- 2 years’ experience of leading a successful technical service.
- Educated to a Degree level or equivalent experience in a related subject.
- Hold an SMSTS Health & Safety qualification.
