Leasehold Officer
Location:Hybrid/Merthyr Tydfil Borough
Salary: £34,551 to £35,331 (Appointment at the bottom of the band)
Contract Type:Permanent
Hours of work:Full time – 30hrs - 4 Day Week

As MVH’s Leasehold Officer, you will manage all leased assets and leaseholder relationships, handling asset acquisitions and disposals. You’ll provide an effective service to both residential & commercial leaseholders as well as the wider organisation.
You will attend regular meetings with Solicitors acting for MVH and keep track of caseloads also attending Leasehold Management Network Forum meetings.
Is this for you?
You’ll join us with at least 2 years experience working in Leasehold Services and will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Leasehold Services. You’ll be experienced in delivering excellent customer service and have proven experience interpreting residential and commercial leases as well as knowledge of legislation and good practices relevant to leasehold services. You will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficient IT knowledge. You’ll also have experience developing good working relationships with all stakeholders.
You’ll take pride in your work and keep up-to-date with upcoming legislative changes and best practice to inform our services and continuously improve.
