The Role
- You will oversee multiple projects and lead a team of managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management for Commercial/Government/Business.
- You will establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence.
- You will establish and maintain quality service standards.
- You will take charge of the overall operations function of facilities maintenance work.
- You will approve and oversee maintenance activities, maintenance schedule and inspections.
- You will ensure regular meetings with client's and appointed sub providers.
- You will provide professional advice to management team, conduct and chair monthly management meeting.
- You will handle client’s enquires and provide site supervision.
- You will conduct audit inspections to ensure the outsource service providers are performing according to their contractual obligations and SLAs.
- You will manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works.
- You will prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works.
- You will be responsible for project costing, cost management reporting.
- You will plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement.
- You will prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance.
- You will prepare and certify contractors' payment and prepare OPEX and CAPEX.
What Do You Need to Have?
- Candidates MUST possess a Master’s Degree or a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- He/she MUST possess at least 10 years of facilities management experience, managing large government facilities or commercial facilities.
- Candidates MUST possess prior working experience in managing multiple facilities projects at one time.
- He/she MUST have prior working experience in managing large facilities management team (Exceeding 100 staffs at one time).
- Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
- Service orientated mindset.
- Strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences.
- Possess high level of initiative and integrity.
- Possess strong leadership, quality, good planning and organizing ability.
- Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviors.
